Item & Condition: This clay Peterson System pipe is a remarkable and rare piece, featuring a classic P-Lip stem and a nickel band, designed to provide an exceptional smoking experience. Although it has one small chip on the rim, it remains in excellent condition for its age and has barely been smoked. The Peterson System is renowned for its innovative design that includes a moisture reservoir, which helps to deliver a dry and cool smoke, minimizing tongue bite. The P-Lip mouthpiece directs smoke towards the roof of the mouth, enhancing the overall smoking pleasure while reducing the risk of irritation. This pipe was only made in a couple of periods such as when briar was in short supply during the world war.
