Handsome MASTRO DE PAJA Gigante Unica Long Canadian-Shape Briar Pipe It's time for me to begin selling off some of my pipe collection. If long-shank Canadian pipes are your favorites then check out my other auctions. T he figurative cross-cut grain on this briar is gorgeous. The reddish-orange stain truly enhances the beautiful briar grain making it "pop"! The gloss black acrylic mouthpiece shines like glass and is free of tooth marks & scratches. This MDJ pipe is an early specimen evidenced by the "sun" figure embossed on the bottom-base of the mouthpiece. The nomenclature reads: Mastro De Paja (in cursive), Pesaro (in cursive), sun figure (also embossed into the briar shank), Gigante, Unica. I have only smoked this pipe a handful of times ... it's a great smoker ... but really too nice for me to use routinely ... so it has sat displayed upon my pipe rack shelf adjacent to its briar brethren (I have other similar long Canadian pipes listed on eBay, too). I believe the attached pics will tell you more about this handsome beauty than I can describe in words. However, if you have a ny questions ... please ask me. If this beauty sells, I plan to ship it insured, hence why I'm requesting a slightly higher postage fee than I normally do. Too many items seem to come up missing in shipment this time of year. Dimensions: The overall length = 7.25" or 18.4 cm. The bowl height = 2" or 5.1 cm. The bowl width = 1.5" or 3.8 cm. 18.4 cm. The bowl height is 2.125" or 5.4 cm.
